Avid and MovieMaker Magazine Announce Winners of 30-Second Spot Contest: Professional and People's Choice Winners Head to Sundance Film

-- The Professional's Choice Award, "In Halls of Avid, One is Many," is an HD spot that Osborne created using a Panasonic AG-HVX200 camera, Avid Xpress(R) Pro software, and Adobe After Effects. As part of the Professional's Choice Award, the spot will air approximately 100 times throughout the Sundance Film Festival on Park City TV (PCTV) - Sundance's exclusive "All Access" news station. The spot will be seen by festival attendees including producers, directors, editors, studio executives and Hollywood talent.

-- The People's Choice Award, "Caveman," received more than 9,600 votes from Moviemaker.com visitors. Chambers created his winning entry using a Sony WS790 camera, and Avid(R) Media Composer(R) Adrenaline(TM) and Digidesign(R) Pro Tools(R) systems.

Both winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the 2007 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Additionally, the creators behind the 50 most popular entries (based on the number of People's Choice votes received) will each get a free copy of Avid Xpress Pro software - the same editing tool used by some of the top content creators in film, television and music video production.
